Invalid Deduction Frequency Report (PRFRØA)

The Invalid Deduction Frequency Report lists the employee deductions for selective deductions where the deduction frequency code is invalid. This report will ignore the suspended setting of a *.  The intent of this report is to allow you to identify any employee’s that have deductions with deduction frequency codes that are not defined under the frequency code data base. These invalid entries should be corrected by either adjusting the employee’s deduction or if applicable adding a frequency code to the data base. The payroll calendar will not accept invalid deduction frequencies and deductions entries where the deduction frequency is not in the payroll calendar will not be processed.  The bottom of the report lists any deduction codes in the deduction code data base that have invalid deduction frequencies as well.

This option must be set up on the Custom User Reports Profile on the payroll you want to run from. For example you would enter:

INVALID DEDUCTION FREQUENCY REPORT/SRB$OPSEXE:PRFRØA

You would then run the defined menu item from the Custom User Reports Menu.

Deduction Codes To Report

  • Enter <CR> to report on all deduction codes.

  • Enter deduction codes, one at a time, for a list of deductions to be reported.

Include Empty Frequency Codes As Invalid

  • Enter 'Y' or <CR> to include reporting deductions with an empty frequency code.

  • Enter 'N' to omit reporting deductions with an empty frequency code.

  • Enter ‘O’ to only report those employee deductions where the deduction frequency is empty.

A report lists the following:

  • The employee number and name

  • Employee status, if applicable

  • Deduction code and description

  • Current invalid deduction frequency code, blank if empty.

  • Total employees with invalid frequencies.

  • Total invalid frequencies reported.

  • Listing of deduction data base when invalid frequency code.
