The Employee Original Hire Date Load Utility sets the original hire date from each employee to the same date stored in their current hire date. If no date is stored in an employee's current date, or the employee's current date is an invalid date (i.e. Apr. 31, 1990 or Feb. 29, 1990), no date will be loaded into the employee's original hire date. If a valid date is already stored as the employee's original hire date, it will not be changed. If the employee's original hire date already contains information but the information is not in a valid date format (ie. YYYYMMDD), the information will be replaced with the employee's current hire date. a report will be generated that will indicate, for every employee, if the original hire date has been loaded.
This option may be setup on the Custom Users Reports Profile, for example,
EMPLOYEE ORIGINAL HIRE DATE LOAD/SRB$OPSEXE:PRQZØA
This option would then be run from the Custom Users Report Menu.

Report Only Or Process Employees

Enter 'R' or <CR> to only create a report and not update the employee records. The report will show how the employee's original hire date will be loaded without actually loading them.

Enter 'P' to load all employees' original hire dates with their current hire dates and generate a report listing the load results.
