The Earnings Statement Parameter Report provides a printout of all parameters defined for the User Defined Earnings Statement. The report includes a general earnings statement layout option. The layout option prints a general example of how the earning statement will look based on the fields defined. Items defined to print beyond the 99th column will be omitted from the layout example.
For an exact test of new or changed earnings statement parameters you must run the payroll through to the end of Payroll Processing. The Special Pay Run can be used to test earnings statements by allowing you control over the number of employees to be included in the pay run. If you make changes or corrections to the earnings statement parameters, the Payroll Processing phase must be rerun to reproduce the revised earnings statement, assuming you have already run Earnings Detail and Earnings Summary.
