The Employee Password Initialization Process allows an PDF Statement password record to be generated for each employee. The employee’s PDF statement password field is a global field shared by all payrolls, each employee will have only one password field. This process will initially create all employee’s password by increment the starting number of 300000 once per employee. The Employee Additions will also auto create the employee’s PDF Statement password field from this incrementing password number.
This feature requires the password field be activated and set to password type P, under field Password on PDF Statements in the User Specific Parameter Profile. This field must be activated for all payrolls.
This option must be set up on the Custom User Reports Profile on the payroll you want to run from. For example you would enter:
'PASSWORD INITIALIZATION/SRB$OPSEXE:PRCRØL'
You would then run the defined menu item from the Custom User Reports Menu.
