Employee By Occupation Report

A report that provides details of hours and earnings for selective employees to be reported in occupation order, based on the occupation code from the employee’s current master function line The report can be run for a range of history periods, including or excluding the pay codes to be used on the report.

This report includes an option to generate an export file, ######.CSV, where ###### is the job number. The export file is generated where the logical SRB$OPSWRK is defined. All fields within the export file have any extra spaces removed from the front and back of the fields and all fields are separated by a comma.

The export file includes the following fields:

  • Payroll ID code
  • Occupation code
  • Occupation Description
  • Employee number
  • Employee name
  • Hours
  • Earnings

Enter Start Period [YYYYPP]

  • Enter the starting period for a range of periods to be reported on.

Enter End Period [YYYYPP]

  • Enter the ending period for a range of periods to be reported on.

Pay Codes are to be Included / Excluded

  • Enter 'E' to indicate that the pay codes entered on the following prompt are to be excluded for the report.
  • Enter 'I' to indicate that the pay codes entered on the following report are to be included on the report.

Enter Pay Codes to Include / Exclude

  • Enter the pay codes to be included/excluded from the report.

Report All or Selected Employees

Sort within Occ by Employee Number or Employee Name

  • Enter 'E' to produce the report in employee number order.
  • Enter 'N' to produce the report in employee name order.

Include Generation of CSV Export File

  • Enter 'N' to omit the generation of the export file.
  • Enter 'Y' to include the generation of the export file.

The report lists the following:

  • Occupation Code and Description
  • Employee number and name
  • Total hours and earnings for range and pay codes selected
  • Subtotal per occupation code
  • Grand total for report
