Batch Control Maintenance

The Batch Control Maintenance option allows the user to change, where necessary, the control totals for a particular batch number.  Batch control totals should be changed with great caution and should only be necessary when a particular batch has been divided into two batches or where the control totals have been calculated incorrectly.

Batch Control

Enter the batch control header you wish to modify.

A <Enter> at this prompt will return you to the Balancing and Audit Menu.

Number of Documents

The total number of documents in the batch.

Entry to this field is not required.

Total Amount of Money

The total dollar value of the documents in the batch.

The system will display the control and actual totals pertaining to that batch.  Only the CONTROL entries may be changed to correspond to the ACTUAL totals.

Click into the field to be changed.

Enter <Enter> or click Next to clear the screen for the next item.
