Resetting an In Use Batch
Resetting an (In Use) Batch in Accounts Receivable
General Steps:
- Go back into the (In Use) batch.
Reset Cash Receipt Batch:
- Navigate to Receivables > Receipts > Cash Receipt Entry.
- Enter the batch number that is in use.
- Click OK.
- You will be on the receivable group screen. Press backspace to clear the field and then press Enter.
Reset Adjustment Batch:
- Navigate to Receivables > Account Maintenance > Adjustments.
- Enter the batch number that is in use.
- Click OK.
- You will be on the receivable group screen. Press backspace to clear the field and then press Enter.
Reset Credit Note Batch:
- Navigate to Receivables > Account Maintenance > Credit Note.
- Enter the batch number that is in use.
- Click OK.
- You will be on the receivable group screen. Press backspace to clear the field and then press Enter.
Reset Invoice Batch:
- Navigate to Account Maintenance > Adjustment.
- Enter the batch number that is in use (e.g., 202101INV02).
- Click OK.
- You will be on the receivable group screen. Press backspace to clear the field and then press Enter.
- Go back into the Adjustment screen and update the batch to be ADJ or the batch defined for your district.
- We are using Adjustments to make the change to Invoices batches
Note: If your batch totals are incorrect, please re-run the batch balance report to resolve the issue.
