Resetting an In Use Batch

Resetting an (In Use) Batch in Accounts Receivable

General Steps:

  1. Go back into the (In Use) batch.

Reset Cash Receipt Batch:

  1. Navigate to Receivables > Receipts > Cash Receipt Entry.
  2. Enter the batch number that is in use.
  3. Click OK.
  4. You will be on the receivable group screen. Press backspace to clear the field and then press Enter.

Reset Adjustment Batch:

  1. Navigate to Receivables > Account Maintenance > Adjustments.
  2. Enter the batch number that is in use.
  3. Click OK.
  4. You will be on the receivable group screen. Press backspace to clear the field and then press Enter.

Reset Credit Note Batch:

  1. Navigate to Receivables > Account Maintenance > Credit Note.
  2. Enter the batch number that is in use.
  3. Click OK.
  4. You will be on the receivable group screen. Press backspace to clear the field and then press Enter.

Reset Invoice Batch:

  1. Navigate to Account Maintenance > Adjustment.
  2. Enter the batch number that is in use (e.g., 202101INV02).
  3. Click OK.
  4. You will be on the receivable group screen. Press backspace to clear the field and then press Enter.
  5. Go back into the Adjustment screen and update the batch to be ADJ or the batch defined for your district. 
  6. We are using Adjustments to make the change to Invoices batches 

Note: If your batch totals are incorrect, please re-run the batch balance report to resolve the issue.
