PF1 (FUNCTION KEY 1)
Function Key 1 (PF1) or the 'GOLD' key is used in conjunction with other keys on your keyboard to provide particular features within the general operating system and particularly in relationship to the word processing windows.
PF2 (FUNCTION KEY 2)
Function Key 2 (PF2) is used to delete the GL account number from point of entry to the right. This key is used in conjunction with the GL Editor.
PF3 (FUNCTION KEY 3)
Function Key 3 (PF3) invokes the system print screen facility. Pressing this key results in a window opening providing you the facility to determine to which printer to direct this output to and whether to print the screen or not. If you choose to print, the screen as displayed will be printed on your output printer. The window will then be removed from your screen, and you will be back at the point prior to pressing
<PF3>.
PF4 (FUNCTION KEY 4)
Function Key 4 (PF4) invokes our adhoc menu. It's function is to allow access to specific menus and/or specific features within the VMS operating environment and is custom designed by each user site. Further information on the use of the adhoc menu is provided in supplementary documentation.
