Receivable Analysis
The Receivable Analysis report, in the same manner as the Aged Trial Balance, allows the user to specify up to a maximum of four-dollar ranges. The system will then produce a report of all account balances falling within the specified ranges. In addition, the user may specify the number of days past due a receivable must be before appearing on the report. In this manner, the user may obtain, for instance, a report of all accounts over thirty (30) days past due having arrears between 0-100, 101-250, 251-500, 501-1000 and over a thousand dollars. This may be used to assist the user in the collection of receivables.
Enter Receivable Group Code
Your default receivable group will appear here. If you are authorized to change the group code, you may do so by re-keying the field. To obtain a receivable analysis of all receivable groups, type 'ALL' in this field.
Enter the number of the type of report you wish, followed by a <Enter>.
When the report is run in batch, the selection of report type may be more than one option (i.e. reports can be produced by number, and by sort code, for example). When the report is run on-line, the choice is limited to one option at a time.
If option 1 is chosen (account number) the system will prompt:
Starting At Customer
Ending At Customer
If option 2 is selected, the system will prompt in the same manner, except that it is looking for a customer name as opposed to a number.
The same is true for option 3, Account Sort Codes.
