The Mass Asset Disposal program allows you to dispose of items that have been reported as lost or stolen from a location. It updates the quantities and salvage amount, fills the retired date on the master record, and updates the quantity of the asset location record.
Maintenance Class

Enter the class you wish to dispose or choose from the look up
Group

Enter the Group to dispose or choose from the look up
Location

Enter the location or choose from the look up
Depreciation Class

Enter the class or choose from the look up.
Life or Amount
-
LIFE = Past Expected Life AMOUNT = Depreciation Amount equals Unit Cost
Acquired Prior To
-
Only Assets Acquired On Or Prior To This Date Will Be Selected

Paging and find options are available
Search
Search for specific asset in the grid.
Select
Select highlighted line.
Select All
All lines will be selected.
Un-Select All
This will de select all lines.
Dispose
Will dispose all highlighted assets.
If Disposed, when you Inquire on this Asset, it will show as a Retired Asset Deemed Disposal and the Salvage Amount and Date will populate into the Depreciation Screen.
