The Interfaced Asset Maintenance module allows the Asset Manager to maintain assets created in FAS by the direct interface process.
Assets created by Invoice Entry or Receipts Entry will be flagged as interfaced and will have a consistent automatic asset number assigned to them. Much of the key asset information will have to be reviewed as most of the fields will be blank or contain default values from the FAS Master Profile.
All assets flagged as interfaced will be loaded and displayed. Highlight the items that have been reviewed and updated to include valid key information. Upon acceptance, the highlighted items will have the interfaced flag removed and will not appear in the Interfaced Asset Maintenance Screen in the future.
Delete

Enter to flag an asset for deletion. Upon acceptance, all assets flagged for deletion will be hard deleted from the master file.
Modify

Enter to modify the currently highlighted asset. You will be able to modify the asset number, group, class, commodity, bar code, value, description, serial number, and user defined field.
Location

Enter to assign the asset to a specific location. Interfaced assets are assigned to the default location during interface.
Save

Enter to save any changes made to the interfaced assets. Highlighted assets will have the interfaced flag removed and assets flagged for delete will be removed from the master file. You will exit the program.
Cancel

Enter to exit the program without saving any changes.
