The GL Commitment Purge module purges commitment records information no longer required. The file name is PRGCØ1.DAT. Any commitment information no longer needed may be purged out to reduce the size of the commitment file. A backup of the payroll should always be taken before beginning any purge.

Enter Year for GL Commitment Purge

Enter the four-digit year to purge commitment records for.
Report Only or Process

Enter 'R' to produce a report of the commitment records to be purged.

Enter 'P' to actual purge out the commitment records.
The report lists the following:

GL account number
-
Employee number and name
-
Commitment year, pay or deduction code and the code type

Original commitment amount, adjusted commitment amount

Decommitment to date, expensed amount
