Transaction Report by Batch

The TRANSACTION REPORT BY BATCH will produce a report of transactions entered to the system in batch number sequence. The report displays the account number and description, the batch number, the entry type, the reference data, the quantity, and the amount. Units are also referenced if necessary.

ENTER TRANSACTION YEAR

Enter the desired year. The default is the BPS current year.

 

ENTER BUDGET ID <0>

Enter Budget ID you wish to report. It defaults to '0'. If you have only one ID, this entry is skipped and it assumes the value of '0'.

 

ENTER TRANSACTION TYPE [B/I/D/N/U/S] <ALL>

Enter the transaction type to be reported. A <CR> will produce a report of all types.

Transaction type is defined as follows:

I      Increase transactions D        Deleted transactions N        New transactions

B      Base transactions

U      User defined (I,D,N,B,#)

S      System generated (i.e. a projection run)


SHORT OR LONG DESCRIPTION? [S/L] <S>

Enter 'S' or <CR> to produce the report with a short (75 character) description for each transaction.

 

Enter 'L' to print the full description on multiple lines breaking the lines between words.


ENTER STARTING BUDGET BATCH [BBB] <FIRST>

Enter the number of the transaction batch you wish to start.

 

ENTER ENDING BUDGET BATCH [BBB] <LAST>

Enter the number of the transaction batch you wish to end.

 

ENTER <CR> TO PRINT REPORT <CR>

The report displays the following information for each item in the batch requested: Account Number

Account Description Batch Reference Number Transaction Type Reference Data

Unit Quantity (if applicable) Unit Price

Amount

 

The report also provides information on Batch Input Totals, and a total summary of each Transaction Type. NOTE: The Position modules generate system defined batch codes. The codes are:

BP1      FTE/% position, initial benefits, transactions activated in the Position Maintenance

modules.
