The GL Move Table Maintenance program allows the user to access the GL table to view any error messages and make any changes before running the move process.
A window will display the description for the table criteria created.
This screen will display each FROM and to account that will be affected by the move, as well as any warnings or error messages.
Note: The screen above has a warning message letting the user know that the FROM account is not a control account and it is being moved to an account that is a control account. Any warning/error message that contains the words 'should' or 'should not' will not stop the move process. If any warning/error message contains the words 'must', the move process will not run until the condition has been corrected.
Any 'to' accounts that do not exist in the current year and that will be automatically created by the move process will be preceded with an '*'.
