The S/L Control Copy allows you to copy a control record along with all the statistical report information to a new control record. This is useful if you change the structure of your sub-ledger and you do not want to enter all the statistical information over again for the new control record. It can also be useful when first setting up sub-ledgers.
Year

Enter the year in which you wish to copy the control record.
Sub-Ledger Name

Enter the control record to copy (up to 2 digits). The system will display the description and the level sizes.
New Name

Enter the new control record name (up to 2 digits).
New Description

Enter a new description (up to 35 characters). <Enter> to accept the default of the old control record description.
Level #1

Enter the size of level 1 to take the default from the old control record.
Level #2

Enter the size of level 2 to take the default from the old control record.
