Section (B)
Change Options Specific To Each Batch Or Print Queue
To change the options specific to the print or batch queue you select, enter 'B' at the prompt at the bottom of the screen. Assuming you are able to access this option, your cursor should move to Section B and you will be asked to change the following options:
Batch Queue
Printer For Log
Enter the print queue you want the log file to be printed on.
Press <Enter> to accept the current value displayed. This option is valid only when running a report to batch. (DO NOT SPECIFY A DISK DEVICE)
Hold
Enter 'Y' if you want the batch job to be held until you release it manually at a later date.
Press <Enter> to use the current value displayed. This option is valid only when running a report to batch.
Delete
Enter 'Y' if you want the batch log to be deleted after completion or press <Enter> to use the current value displayed. We do NOT recommend use of this option. If used, print out all log files. This option is valid only when running a report to batch.
Enter 'Y' if you want the batch log to be printed after completion or press <Enter> to use the current value displayed. Valid only when running a report to batch.
Notify
Enter 'Y' to have the system to announce when the batch job has completed or press <Enter> to use the current value displayed. This option is valid only when running a report to batch.
Print Queue
Hold
Enter 'Y' to hold the report in the print queue until released manually at a later date.
Press <Enter> to use the current value displayed.
Delete
Enter 'Y if you want the report to be deleted from the disk after it has been printed. We recommend you don't use this option on the chance that your printer is not set up properly or another failure results in the loss of the report. This is important for reports which are difficult to recreate because they are part of update processes.
If you choose 'N', then you must look after deleting these files later.
