The Requisition Description database provides you with all the tools required to maintain a list of requisition descriptions that are used specifically within the requisition modules and which are defined based on location codes. This provides the ability to apply location security to the descriptions added and allows each location to have their own custom list of descriptions which can be inserted onto the requisition. Note This database can only be used if field 02 'Use ATS Location Database' is set to Yes.
Master location security will display a list of all locations. Use the magnifying glass or enter the location code for the location you want to access descriptions for. Using the magnifying glass also provides the ability to use the magnifying glass again to enter a location name for quick access to that location.Select when you have selected the correct location.
Location security will auto fill the location field, restricting the user to descriptions for their location only.
The next screen that displays is very similar to the look and functionality of the PO Description Database. The main difference is that the descriptions that are to be entered or modified are available only to the location first entered.
