Manitoba BILL 57 Salary Report 

The Manitoba Bill 57 Salary Report allows reporting of accumulated history earnings from one or up to ten payrolls. This report allows the definition of separate pay period ranges as well as earnings to be excluded, per payroll selected. Taxable benefits may optionally be included as salary.

This report includes an optional export file, SRB$OPSWRK:######.EXP, where ###### is the job number. The export file is a tab delimited file containing the following fields:

This process includes the option to maintain multiple sets of stored prompts.

Name the prompt sets by defining a title up to 10 characters, with a 30-character description.

On the first prompt click the Report Defaults icon to select an existing set of prompt values. You can delete prompt sets or change the description from the Report Default icon.

Enter Reporting Year 

  • Enter the reporting year. To be included on the heading of the report.

  • Enter one or multiple payroll ID's along with the pay periods and any earnings to be excluded.

Include Taxable Benefits as Salary

  • Enter 'N' when taxable benefits are not to be included as salary.

  • Enter 'Y' to include taxable benefits as salary.

Round Salary to Whole Dollar

  • Enter 'N' to report the full salary.

  • Enter 'Y' to report the salary rounded to the nearest whole dollar.

Minimum Salary to be Reported

  • Enter the minimum salary to be reported. Employees with a salary less than this amount will be omitted from the report.

Sort by Employee Number, Name or Salary

  • Enter 'E' to generate the report in employee number sequence.

  • Enter 'N' to generate the report in employee name sequence.

  • Enter 'S' to generate the report in salary sequence.

Include generation of export file

  • Enter 'N' to omit the export file.

  • Enter 'Y' to include the generation of the export file.

The report lists the following:

  • Employee name

  • Occupation description from master function line

  • Salary including taxable benefits, when applicable
