The BPS Temporary Budget Rebuild module reports/rebuilds any inconsistencies between the budget master and detail files within BPS. It sums the total of un-finalized temporary budgets in the detail file and compares that total to the temporary budget amount stored in the master file. This program should be run periodically to ensure system integrity.
WHEN YOU SELECT THIS OPTION THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE WILL DISPLAY:
A Preliminary run will print a report only. A Final run prints a report and eliminate any discrepancies by changing the master file amount to equal the total in the detail file.

Enter the appropriate year.
ENTER BUDGET ID TO COMPARE AND REPORT ON
Enter the appropriate budget ID. The default is '0'.
PRELIMINARY/FINAL RUN
Enter 'P' (default) or <CR> to generate a report only.
Enter 'F' to rebuild the master file based on the sum of the detail file.
