EI Insurable History Report

The EI Insurable History Report allows you to report an employee's insurable earnings for a range of pay periods patterned after the Preliminary ROE process. This report will print pay periods where an employee has no insurable earnings but is in cycle based on the payroll calendar. This feature allows you to see the gaps in insurable earnings that will be used by the ROE system. This report will report the pay periods in reverse order, most current pay period first.

This report includes an option to generate an export file, ######.CSV, where ###### is the job number. The export file is generated where the logical SRB$OPSWRK is defined. All fields within the export file have any extra spaces removed from the front and back of the fields and all fields are separated by a comma.

The export file includes the following fields:

  • Payroll ID code

  • Employee number

  • Employee name

  • Period

  • Start date

  • End date

  • Employer share

  • Eligible earnings

  • Employee amount

  • Hours

  • Insurable earnings

Enter Starting Pay Period

  • Enter the starting pay period you want included in the report.

Enter Ending Pay Period

  • Enter the last pay period you want included on the report.

Report All or Selected Employees

Report Employees Terminated / On Leave / Both

Sort by Employee Number or Employee Name

  • Enter 'E' to produce the report in employee number order.

  • Enter 'N' to produce the report in employee name order.

Include Generation of CSV Export File

  • Enter 'N' to omit the generation of the export file.

  • Enter 'Y' to include the generation of the export file.

The report lists the following:

  • Employee name and number

  • Pay period

  • Start and End dates, as per pay cycle

  • Employer share

  • Eligible earnings

  • Employee amount

  • Hours and gross pay

  • Total number of employees
