The Daily Time Entry Code Maintenance module allows the means of defining the Entry Codes used by the Daily Time Entry. These Entry codes replace and represent a pay code as well as optional override for occupation code, shift code, cost center and GL account. The Daily Time Entry Batch Default Codes option allow a means of defining the actual order the Entry code will display on the screen.

Enter a descriptive Entry code up to 6 characters long.
Code Type

Enter 'P' when this Entry code represents posted hours or 'A' when this Entry code represents additional hours.
Description

Enter a description for the Entry Code.
Pay Codes

Enter the pay code to be used in the generation of the time sheet entry.
Multiple pay codes are allowed but only when all pay codes are defined to Withdrawal from a storage bank.
Pay Type

Enter 'V' when the pay type if Vacation. When bank entries are marked as 'V'acation then when a vacation bank's hours have been depleted, the user will be given an option to generate a payout of the remaining positive monies.

Enter 'N' when the pay type is not Vacation.
Overrides

Enter overrides for the following codes. These overrides will be used in place of function line values during the generation of the DTE time sheets for time entered under this Entry code. These overrides will take precedence over values from the employee's function line. Override values entered on the DTE screen will take precedence over these overrides.
