Text message notifications are now sent through a dedicated messaging service instead of a carrier email-to-text gateway. This provides a more direct and reliable method for delivering notifications related to absence and replacement scenarios.
This enhancement helps improve the consistency and dependability of text message delivery while providing a more modern notification experience.
