The Rebuild GL function only operates on option 1 of the dictionary module, (i.e. the General Ledger Dictionary). This module goes through the GL record by record and rebuilds the GL description based on the current values in the abbreviation fields of the various levels of the GL account number dictionary. This module is used whenever there are changes made to the abbreviation values and the user wants to rebuild the descriptions in the GL account file.
