Vendor Sort Key Additions

The Vendor Sort Key Additions provides the facility to enter the sort key other than as defined by the system.

Vendor #

• Enter the vendor number. The system displays the vendor name and system assigned sort sequence. If the vendor number is unknown, use Lookup.

The program advances through the vendor file in vendor number sequence until entry is complete.

The system assigned sort sequence consists of the first 15 digits entered in the vendor name and will appear in '01'.

Sort Sequence

• If sort sequence entered by the system is to be changed, enter any sort sequence you desire

First Sequence

• Enter the position number from which the first sequencing is to start. The system will use the first 9 digits from the starting position.

Second Sequence

• Enter the position number you want the second sequencing to start from. The system will display a space and the first five digits from the starting position.
