The FREDS Report and Export report is designed for use with the BC ministry to provide their reporting requirements for school districts within BC. This report can be uploaded to the ministry through their 'Financial Reporting and Electronic Data System' (FREDS).
School District Number
Enter the school district number assigned to your district by the ministry.
Data Context

Enter the type of data being reported on or use Look-up to select an option. The four options are: Actual (expenses), Annual Budget, Amended Budget and Forecasting.
Fiscal Year

Enter the fiscal year being reported on.
Quarter

Enter the range of data being reported on or use Look-up to display the options.
FREDS Fund

Enter the level of your GL or alias that correlates with the ministry's fund level. Look-up will display a list of your GL and alias levels.
FREDS Object

Enter the level of your GL or alias that correlates with the ministry's object level. Look-up will display a list of your GL and alias levels.
FREDS Program

Enter the level of your GL or alias that correlates with the ministry's program level. Look-up will display a list of your GL and alias levels.

Create Upload File

Enter 'Y' to create the upload file. The file will be placed in your user directory. If 'Y' is selected, a message will display on the screen indicating the file name. A sample message would be:
