PCard - Location Reviewer Submit for Supervisor Review

Completed

Purchasing Cards Web

What we’re doing:

Providing greater flexibility and configuration options for the review and notification processes

Why we think you’ll like it:

The ability to control the review/approval routing and notification system directly within the Purchasing Cards module means that you have better control over your setup and business process. A designated reviewer can update the general Ledger account, add a description, and upload supporting documents and receipts on behalf of the cardholder and then once done, they can submit the cardholders transactions for supervisor review with one click of a button.

To enable this functionality, navigate to Tools > Security & Setup > Role Based Security

Role Based Security Configuration

  1. Edit the PCard Location Reviewer Role (note that the role name may be different on your system)

  2. Click the Permission button

  3. In the Product dropdown select Purchasing Card

  4. Select the View Location Transactions permission in the Selected Permissions box and click on the left-arrow to move it back to the Available Permissions box

  5. Select the View Locations Transactions & Submit for Supervisor Review permission in the Available Permissions box and click on the right-arrow to move it to the Selected Permissions box

  6. Click Save

Note: the existing View Location Transactions permission does not provide the ability to push notifications to the cardholders supervisor for review. This option provides the ability to by-pass the supervisor review and submit directly to the district final reviewer.
